Will-O-Dean Acres is an older subdivision in Raleigh, North Carolina, originally developed in the late 1950’s.

With just two entry roads along Spring Forest Road, Will-O-Dean acres is well insulated from the traffic flow in the area. That is fitting, since a visit to Will-O-Dean Acres is a step out of the fast lane and into a time when large lots, big trees and quiet streets were the rule.

Homes in Will-O-Dean Acres are classic 1960’s brick ranches, with some traditional colonials and low country homes mixed in.  The lots tend to be a minimum of 2/3 acre with many over a full acre.

Will-O-Dean Acres homes share a Raleigh address, but the neighborhood was never annexxed into Raleigh.  Therefore, being in unincorporated Wake County, Will-O-Dean Acres homeowners pay no city taxes, but only Wake County Taxes.  See Wake County Tax Rates here.
